This privacy statement applies to the personal data that is processed by SMF Tools BV or its affiliates or subsidiaries (SMF Tools) when you interact with SMF Tools, such as when you visit our websites, when you use the products or services offered by SMF Tools, when you purchase SMF Tools products or services, when you subscribe to newsletters, when you contact customer support, and when you interact with SMF Tools on behalf of a customer, supplier or business partner, or as a job applicant. Such data are processed under the responsibility of the local SMF Tools entity as well as under the responsibility of Koninklijke Nedschroef Holding BV, with its principle office at Kanaaldijk N.W. 75, 5707 LC Helmond, The Netherlands.

We ask you to share your personal data with us for purposes that include, but are not limited to:

When you interact with us on behalf of a customer, supplier or business partner of SMF Tools, we may collect:

• Name and address of the company you work for

 

When you interact with SMF Tools in connection with a recruitment process, we may ask or receive certain personal data, including, but not limited to:

• Personal data allowing identification of the candidate and practical organization: first name, surname, address and country of residence, email address, telephone number, birth date.
• Personal data allowing the verification of the eligibility and selection criteria as laid down in the vacancy notices: education and training (diploma awarded), professional experience (job title, company name, company type and web address of company (optional), main tasks and responsibilities), linguistic and job related skills and competencies and areas of interest.

 

In addition, we may collect personal data via cookies or similar techniques, including, but not limited to:

• Your IP address (anonymized);
• Your cookie ID;

• Your location;
• The web pages you visit on our websites;
• The advertisements you've viewed or clicked through;

 

More specifically:
• Our website uses Google Analytics cookies;
• We entered into a data processing agreement with Google;
• We mask the last octet of website visitors’ IP addresses;
• We do not share website visitor’s data with Google;
• We do not use other Google services in combination with Google Analytics cookies.

To the extent that a third party processes your personal data as a data processor of SMF Tools, SMF Tools will conclude a data processing agreement with such party in strict accordance with the requirements as stated in the GDPR.

 

To be able to provide our products and services, it may be necessary for us to transfer your personal data to a recipient in a country outside of the European Economic Area. In that case, SMF Tools will ensure that the data transfer is compliant with the applicable law.
